A familiar counter since the 1980s.

A local Riversdale store built around practical stock, familiar faces and the kind of help that saves a second trip.

Shelves of stationery inside Nieu-Script

Still practical. Still local.

Nieu-Script was started by the Nieuwoudt family in the 1980s, and in 2004 Woutrien Eloff bought over the business and continued growing it as a trusted Riversdale store.

Later, MJ de Jager's section of the building was sold to Nieu-Script so the space could operate as one store. Today it continues to serve school, office, gifting, reading and everyday admin needs from Mitchell Street.
